Thyme is a powerful herb with strong antiseptic properties. This her is also another antibiotic great for Cold and Flus, Bronchitis and even pneumonia. 
It has diaphoretic properties(a herb that induces sweating by opening the pores. It also makes a great mouthwash/rinse. Thus killing bacterias' and virus' within the mouth area. 
Thyme works incredibly on the respiratory system and also has soothing and sedative action on the nerves.although powerful and nonpoisonous and will eliminate all infection, kill worms (not all  larva).

A few uses but not limited to are:
headaches, nightmares, colic, stomach cramps, diarrhea, bronchitis, cough, wounds, toothaches, body odor, gout, rheumatism, scabies, indolecent ulcers, throat irratationtions (use Gargle) muscular rheumatism, sores, odor, 

Pure Thyme oil mixed with pure tea tree oil and distilled and peppermint or lavender essential oil will give you a Powerful but wonderful anti-septic cleaning solution that is chemical free and great for sterilizing the home during and after any illness' 

the other powerful antibiotic herbs that can be used are Oregano and Clove but not limited to these three but these are 3 powerhouse herbs with antibiotic and ant- septic properties with very high O.R.A.C. levels.( oral is a measurement of antioxident(s) ) 








Thyme Tea( for gargle)
2 teaspoons of dried thyme
10 ounces of distilled or filtered water.

Directions:
Steep only for 4 minutes (the longer you steep thyme the more bitter it gets)
press the soaked herbs when cooled shake well let cool and gargle this will help disinfect your mouth and throat thus helping and soreness to heal quicker. 
Adding 2 drops of pure peppermint essential oil will make an excellent mouth wash/rinse.

cooled thyme tea is good for cuts and promotes wound healing. Thyme will also with lavender revitalize dead skin cells in addition to cleansing it. 

A herbal Skin Wash
10 ounces of distilled water
1 teaspoon of dried Lavender flowers
1 teaspoon of dried Calendula flowers

Rinse your skin for several days and what the color and vitality return 
you can also make a few of these and soak it a warm bath then taking the filled cheesecloth and wetting them regularly wash your body as you would with a bar of soap. Do not use body lotion at all while you are doing this this will allow the pores to remain open and breath giving you a healthy skin overall. 

Do not use thyme if you are pregnant or breast feeding.
