"White Willow Bark"

White Willow Bark has been used for over 2,500 years and people back then would chew on the bark for migraine headaches. So next time you go to grab the aspirin grab White willow bark instead.
When it come to Pain management, White Willow bark is a very effective means for pain relief particularly nerve pain. However it is also goo for sore joints and Rheumatoid arthritis because of its natural  aspirin like effects. another benefit is that in some cases aspirin can irritate the stomach lining and cause internal bleeding whereas White willow will not even with its aspirin like effects/properties.

White willow also has blood thinning properties and if you need to go for a blood test it is said to stop using it 3 days before the tests simply because it will cause inaccurate results.

White willow bark can be found along north eastern north america, as fed north from Nova Scotia to Georgia. It is the inner bark that is used simply because of the natural salix properties.
